Self-Advocacy Coaching for Relationships
Build more fulfilling and sustainable connections with others
Do you want to feel seen and heard in your relationships?
Belonging and connection are basic human needs and sometimes we feel out of sync with the people around us, whether it’s with our family, friends, romantic partners or coworkers.
Maybe you’re stuck in a seemingly unbreakable pattern of your needs being put on the back burner. You’ve hit a breaking point and know something has to change.
…or maybe you’re apprehensive to establish connections with others and feel lonely or hopeless about finding your people.
…or maybe you know you're missing the skills and confidence to advocate for yourself in relationships—and you're longing for a world where you feel more empowered.
You’re ready to partner with someone to reclaim your agency in your relationships.
You’ve come to the right place.
Begin To:
-
✺
Clearly articulate what you want in your relationships and why you’re deserving of it
-
✺
Recognize what holds you back from self-advocacy—and learn to quiet those doubts
-
✺
Discover the ways you’re unconsciously undermining your voice
-
✺
Demystify how to build influence in a relational way
-
✺
Set boundaries that afford you more freedom
-
✺
Repair challenging relationships

My Approach
I help clients illuminate what they’re longing for relationally and face honestly what has held them back from self-advocacy.
So many of us lose faith in our own agency, burying our hopes and ambitions beneath fear and doubt. By embracing these dreams again, we can build a clearer path from where we are to where we want to be.
I enjoy working with clients who are ready to take bold steps .
Change stirs resistance, both within and around us. I guide clients through gradual, intentional steps that honor their internal fears while building courage. Together, we'll also develop strategies to navigate external pushback, using negotiation techniques that turn potential resistance into support.
I bring structure to a sometimes nebulous topic.
Venturing into new territory without a guidebook can leave you feeling lost. I partner with clients to create a clear roadmap, with guideposts that track your progress and keep you steady. We'll leverage a Self-Advocacy toolkit that I've developed through research and extensive training to help you find solid ground.
The Self-Advocacy Toolkit Includes:
Emotional intelligence frameworks
Scripts for asking for what you want
Negotiation tips
Resilience techniques for getting through uncomfortable interpersonal moments
Self-awareness exercises, including 360 reviews and building a vocabulary of feelings and needs
Concepts from nonviolent communication, Internal Family Systems, exposure theory and somatic experiencing
